The Town Coordination Group
Consisting of members of Otley Town Council, Otley Business Improvement District, and Leeds City Councillors, this group coordinates marketing initiatives to increase visitation to the town from a local, regional and national level.
Its members co-fund and support the Visit Otley and Buy in Otley websites as well as associated social channels, PR support, annual and one-off event support and planning, and other marketing efforts and collaborations.
All Otley businesses are afforded a listing on the Buy in Otley website and those businesses without a digital presence are invited to expand their presence, allowing them to take advantage of the site’s search optimisation.
Significant milestones achieved by the TCC committee include:
- National & regional media coverage
- Regular video campaigns – including our annual Christmas offering
- Field art for Tour de Yorkshire on national TV
- National Coach Friendly Status
- A doubling of social media followers
